Seminar on Upgradation of Teaching Skills for Teaching Faculty

On the 14th June, a seminar on Upgradation of Teaching Skills for Teaching Faculty for Quality Enhancement was organised by the Research, Consultancy and Extension Cell, IQAC – GAC at the Synod Conference Hall. Four Resource Persons who had all, at some point in the past, been on the teaching faculty of the college presented papers as per the following:

Roles and Responsibilities of Teachers – Dr. Lalchungnunga (formerly Vice-Principal of Aizawl College, and currently Chairman, MBSE)
Teacher Made Tests (Descriptive, Short Answers, Multiple Choice) – Prof. Lalhmasai (formerly with the Dept. of Education, GAC, and currently HOD, Dept. of Edu., MZU)
Development of Teaching Skills with special reference to refreshing oneself – Prof. Margaret Ch. Zama (formerly with the Dept. of English, GAC, and currently at MZU)
Building Relationships with Students and Colleagues – Dr. H. Malsawmi (formerly with the Dept. of Education, GAC, and currently at MZU)

Lively interaction followed every session and Dr. Lalthansangi, Chairman of the organising Cell, finally concluded proceedings with a vote of thanks.
